Session Details
Newborn sessions typically last about 2 hours, with time for feedings, changing, rocking, and snuggles. Sessions can take place in my home studio in Concord or at your home (a travel fee may apply). Parents & siblings are welcome to join in the shoot. Afterward, you’ll receive a preview gallery with approximately 100+ high-resolution JPG images, including a few of my favorites in black and white.
How to Prepare
A relaxed environment makes all the difference. Put on your favorite music, make yourself a cozy drink, and settle in, we’ll have fun! Try to feed your baby about 15 minutes before the session and leave them in just a diaper so they’re ready for swaddling. Keeping the room warm (a space heater helps!) and having white noise nearby can also make your little one extra sleepy.
Personal Touches
I provide plenty of swaddles, blankets, and props, but you’re welcome to add your own touches. Solid-colored blankets, special baskets or buckets, and sweet accessories like bows, hats, or bow ties help make the session unique to your family. If picking out looks isn't your thing, don’t stress about finding anything new, I have a full selection ready for you!
A Note for Parents
If you’re in newborn “zombie mode” (totally normal!), don’t worry, I’m happy to take over the shoot and guide the session so you can just relax and enjoy!
Gallery Delivery
The turnaround time is 3 weeks. Once your images are ready, you’ll receive a beautiful online gallery where you can download all your high-res photos and order professional prints. The gallery also includes a “favorite” feature so you can easily access the ones you love most.
Usage + Rights
Your gallery includes full print rights, so you’re welcome to print and share your images for personal use. If you’d like to use them for business or publication, just reach out.
